Surrey Scorchers survived a fourth quarter rally to defeat the Bristol Flyers 80-74 and complete the season sweep over their opponents. With this win Surrey leapfrogged Bristol in the BBL standings and moved into 7th place as the season heads into the final stretch.
A 15-point lead at the start of the fourth quarter was eroded as the Scorchers endured more than five scoreless minutes. It allowed the hosts to battle back and they got the defecit down to three points late in the game, but Saiquan Jamison made some big buckets down the stretch to secure the win.
Jamison, who's been nominated for the BBL's player of the month for February, was outstanding again this game. His 15 points and 12 rebounds lead the way as he continues to be the beating heart of this team.

Andrew Lawrence also put in a good performance, contributing 15 points from 12 shots off the bench. Emeka Obukwelu had the most productive game of his short Scorchers career, knocking down two three-pointers as he put up 8 points in just over 9 minutes of play.
Brad Greene lead the resistance for the hosts. He scored a game-high 20 points and pulled down an impressive 16 boards, but it wasn't enough for the short-handed Flyers who were without Tevin Olison and ran a seven-man rotation for this game.
In securing this week the Scorchers continued their good form and moved up in the standings. They've moved to 12-16 on the year and find themselves in a log-jam alongside the Flyers, their next opponents Sheffield Sharks and Newcastle Eagles as teams jostle for play-off position.
