Surrey Scorchers have today confirmed that New Zealand forward Jordan Hunt suffered a fractured fibula during their BBL Trophy win over the Sheffield Sharks.
Hunt, who's averaged 8.3 points and 4 rebounds in 20 matches this season, was assessed at Royal Surrey Hospital and is now beginning rehabilitation.
In a statement on the club's website, the team say that Hunt's return date is currently unknown. They also say that they are "fully committed to supporting Jordan through his rehab and return to the basketball court."
We wish Jordan all the best in his recovery and we hope to see him back on the court as soon as possible.
